MIRAGE STANDARD
The Mirage Standard is a stripped-down version of the Mirage custom, without all the frills. It was designed to be a work horse, a guitar you will not be afraid to abuse, when necessary, but without sacrificing quality and important features like tone, playability, and comfort.
NECK: The Mirage Standard comes stock with a plane hard rock maple neck blank and a rosewood fingerboard. The headstock is laminated with a black and maple veneer for added strength then finished to match the body. The Inlayed position markers are MOP’ on the 5th, 12th and the 19th. A 25 ½’ scale length is used with a 1 11/16’ width at the nut and .800 thick at the first fret and .850 at the 12th fret. A 12’ to 16’ compound radius and Dunlop 6150 frets and a durable Acrylic Urethane finish complete the neck
BODY: The body starts with a chambered 1-½ thick piece of poplar. Then a ¾’ piece of soft maple is laminated to the top. The Mirage Standard has no faux binding but instead have a comfortable arm curve. The back has carved out areas for added comfort and playability.
FINISH OPTIONS: Choose from Black, Cream, Sea Foam Green, Lake Placid Blue, Silver, and Hotrod Red.
HARDWEAR: Chrome Gotoh tuners, Tone Pro’s wraparound bridge and tail piece combination, an Aluminum headstock bracket and, Dunlop dual design strap lock strap buttons are all standard on the Mirage Standard
ELECTRONICS: The Standard comes with two humbucking pickups with chrome covers. A Seymour Duncan 59 in the neck that sparkles with upper midrange harmonics and grit, and a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge for low end power and crisp and detailed highs. A Volume for each pickup and a Master Tone and 3-position switch complete the Mirage Standard.
OPTIONS: Choice one of the above-mentioned colors or a custom one of your choosing at an additional cost. Each pickup can be coil taped using a pull/push switch on the volume pots at an additional cost.
