MIRAGE GT
The Mirage GT was designed for the player that just needed that Telle Twang or just wanted a guitar that would cut through when being played alongside a humbucker guitar and look grate doing it. The GT has all the same quality as our top-of-the-line guitar.
NECK: The Mirage GT starts off with a plane maple neck and then fitted with a rosewood fingerboard. The headstock has black veneers laminated to the face for added strength and then finished to match the body. The Inlayed position markers are MOP. A 25 ½’ scale length is used with 1 11/16’ width at the nut, .800 thick at the first fret and .850 at the 12th fret for a comfortable “C” shaped neck. A 12’ to 16’ compound radius and Dunlop 6150 frets and an Acrylic Urethane finish the Mirage GT neck.
BODY: The body starts with a chambered 1-½ thick piece of Poplar, then a ¾’ piece of soft maple is laminated to the top. The Mirage GT has no faux binding but instead has a comfortable arm curve. The back of the body has two carved out areas for maximum comfort and playability.
FINISH OPTIONS: Choose from Black, Cream, Sea Foam Green, Lake Placid Blue, Silver, and Hotrod Red.
HARDWEAR: Chrome. Gotoh tuners, Telle style bridge, Aluminum headstock bracket and, Dunlop dual design strap lock strap buttons are all standard on the Mirage GT.
ELECTRONICS: The Mirage GT uses the Seymour Duncan Hot Tele set. The neck pickup is wound hotter with mellow highs and enhanced midrange. The bridge pickup has enough punch to cut through like a humbucker but maintains the twang. A Volume, Tone and a 3-position switch complete the Mirage GT.
OPTIONS: Choice one of the above-mentioned colors or a custom one of your choosing at an additional cost. A maple fingerboard with abalone position markers is available at no additional cost.
