MIRAGE CLASSIC
The Mirage classic is just what the name implies, a Classic. It comes in three classic colors and two classic pickup combinations that promise to deliver some of your favorite classic Tones. The styling of this guitar brings that classic look into the modern age without violating the past.
NECK: The Mirage Classic comes stock with a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard. The headstock has a Kevlar/Carbon fiber veneer laminated to the face for added strength. The Inlayed position markers are MOP. A 25 ½’ scale length is used on the Mirage Classic with 1 11/16’ width at the nut, .800 thick at the first fret and .850 at the 12th fret. A 12’ to 16’ compound radius, Dunlop 6150 frets and a flawless Acrylic Urethane finish complete the Mirage Rally.
BODY: The body starts with a chambered 1-½ thick piece of Mahogany, then a ¾’ piece of soft maple or Mahogany is laminated to the top. The Mirage Classic has faux binding for a true classic look
FINISH OPTIONS: Choose from a Goldtop, Trans Cherry, TV blond or a Cream finish. The Goldtop will come with a Mahogany body and a Maple top where the other colors will come with a Mahogany body and a Mahogany top.
HARDWEAR: Chrome. Gotoh tuners, Wilkinson Wraparound bridge, Aluminum headstock bracket and, Dunlop dual design strap lock strap buttons are all standard on the Mirage Classic.
ELECTRONICS: The Mirage Classic uses a Seymour Duncan P90 set where you will capture that gritty bridge sparkle and the sweet neck position warmth of an old ’52 Goldtop, or a Mini Humbucker set that has all the sparkle of a single coil with the tight low end of a full-sized humbucker. A Master Volume, Master Tone and a 3-position switch complete the Mirage Classic.
OPTIONS: When choosing the Humbucker pickup, it can be coil taped using a pull/push switch on the volume pots at an additional cost.
